They came. They saw. They conquered.

Game Of Thrones raced past old records last night as a whopping 3.9 million people tuned in to see the fantasy action series.

Those numbers crown last night’s episode as the most watched Game Of Thrones episode yet.

The season 2 premiere was 74 percent higher than last year’s series premiere and Game of Thrones was also the most watched scripted series on cable for the week.

It just goes to show that if you want people to watch your series – make sure it’s got the word GAME or GAMES in its title. Lolz!

For all the fans of Aaron Sorkin — whether you liked his script for The Social Network, his take on the oval office in The West Wing, or his behind-the-scenes look at ESPN-esque programming on Sports Night — this looks GOOD!

The Newsroom, his newest television show for HBO, delves deep into all the dramz of nightly news on a network like CNN or MSNBC. Jeff Daniels stars as one of the most popular news anchors on the air who is in danger of losing his job after an uncensored outburst during a frustrating interview.

Check out the trailer for the highly anticipated show above, which co-stars Emily Mortimer, Olivia Munn, Jane Fonda, Dev Patel, and Law & Order‘s Sam Waterston.

Will U be watching HBO when The Newsroom premieres on June 24th?
