It was confirmed over the weekend that four of the ladies from the Real Housewives of New York City were being given the boot and won’t be back next season. Alex, Jill and Kelly have been with the show a long time, so they’ve had time to prepare for this day to come. However, Cindy Barshop was the resident newbie of the show and her heave-ho we thought would be a devestating blow to her.

However, in this statement she has released EXCLUSIVELY to PerezHilton.com, Cindy assures us that this won’t be the last we all see of her and that’s she perfectly fine with the way things turned out for her. She says:

“I view any change as an opportunity to learn and grow. RHONY was great marketing platform for my national spa Completely Bare, and as an ambassador for children’s charities I was able to create more awareness . There are additional projects that I am considering. Stay tuned.”

Her chin is up, head held high and seems perfectly grounded. She’s got confidence and money to spare, which will only lead to more opportunities for her.
