Lindsay Lohan, an American actress, popular singer, model and a songwriter is now in jail. It was no surprise to those who followed the career of the said actress when she was convicted to jail. She was sentenced in jail for ninety days because of violating her probation. Going back to her past years, when her career was interrupted with so many intrigues such as the driving with the influence on 2007 and a few visit at the drug rehabilitation which causes several lost of deals in movies.

Lohan started her career as a child fashion model before the remake of “The Parent Trap” also known as the motion picture debut in Disney’s 1998 at the age of 11. As time passes and it was Lohan gaining further fame during 2003 to 2005 and gone through the leading roles in such films: Freaky Friday, Mean Girls and Herbie: Fully Loaded. She also subsequently appeared in various independent films such as Robert Altman’s A Prairie Home Companion and Emilio Estevez’s Bobby.

Today, the celebrity was sentenced for 90 days in jail and will now be able to play poker as a pass time on the place. Through the years, the favorite recreation of the prisoners in jail is through playing cards. And it was Texas Holdem which is the most popular gaming in cards in the world right now.

World Series of Poker (WSOP) main event had just began in Vegas. Some of the top professional players that takes part on the tournament had even spent time on jail. It was maybe the imprisonment on jail made them become a better player and honed their skills in playing card games.

Like Lindsay, Mike Matusow was also jailed for the possession of cocaine in 2004 – 2005. He was also known as one of the most recognizable in poker field. He won his three WSOP  bracelets even though he battled for his drug addiction.

While many of the celebrities had turned up on various poker events and even fund-raising tournaments, well as in the status of Lohan – not well known in playing poker – maybe would sharpen her skills to take up the game while serving her 90 days sentenced to jail.

As Gaming Analyst Steve Schwartz said about Lindsay that she was one of the most recognizable celebrity in the business world because of the associated intrigues, then if she would use her celebrity position for good it could be the start of changing her life all over again. Whereas local or even online casinos may not be a perfect place for Lohan, a little doubt that poker tournaments had become one of the biggest form of money making for fundraisers for the past several years.

Celebrity Lindsay Lohan turned herself last July 20 and was likely to start learning the game of poker if she preferred to do so. She will now be able to placed herself in the poker field once the game practiced.

lindsay-lohan-blindsided-with-jail-sentence

Just as we’re sure she is! She truly thought she was going to walk away scott-free!

Sources close to Lindsay Lohan have revealed that she is none too pleased about her latest prison sentence for violating her parole, and was absolutely blindsided with the ruling, describing it all as “completely ridiculous” and “fucked up!”

Producer Nathan Folks explains:

“She is angry because she has been working so hard on turning her life around. She didn’t do what they said she did. She didn’t steal that necklace. She is ready to do her time. She wants to go to A.A. and N.A. and to serve her 400 hours [of community service]. She has already been doing lots of charity work.”

We honestly don’t know what exactly happened with that effing necklace, and we do genuinely want to see Lindsay succeed, but she was extremely foolish to not even CONSIDER that there was a chance she might not be off the hook, and that jail time was an option.

Here’s hoping that this mess will be resolved, and she can get back to focusing on her rehabilitation.

Hang in there, gurl.
