Very few issues divide dog lovers as much as the question of whether or not breeding is something that should be done. On one hand you have the so called pure breed enthusiasts who would not even consider anything other than a pedigree dog. On the other hand you have people screaming and yelling to stop all breeding altogether. Both positions are equally wrong. There was a time when breeding dogs was not about looks but about talent. Man needed dogs that could perform a certain task better than any other animal on earth. The original philosophy of dog breeding was “form follows function”. That in fact is 100 percent correct. Let’s say you wanted breed a dog with more power then you breed the most powerful males to the most powerful females. If you keep doing this then inevitably the dogs will start to look more and more muscular… “Form follows function”. When doggie beauty pageants became all the rage the opposite philosophy reared it’s ugly head the first time… “Function follows form”. This is, of course, completely ridiculous. People literally sat down and said: “What do we want this breed to look like?” So then they decided to create these ridiculous standards which make no sense to anyone who truly understands dogs. The result was that sheep herding dogs who had been bred previously to be superior herders now could not herd anymore… Guard dogs could not guard anymore and so on… The bulldog is a breed that used to have the ability to hold its own against a 2000

Check out these first official stills from Madonna‘s directorial debut — a flick called W.E.!

“A two-tiered romantic drama focusing on the affair between King Edward VIII and American divorcée Wallis Simpson and a contemporary romance between a married woman and a Russian security guard.”

While we didn’t really doubt that Madonna could make a movie, we honestly had no idea it’d look so beautiful. She’s capturing a very classic look here, and we love it. And that black and white looks just so smooth!

Take a look at the other, bigger stills below!

Can’t wait!

Are U even surprised?? It is the end of an era, afterall.

Harry Potter‘s final film not only scored the largest midnight debut and opening day, but it also grabbed the prize for biggest opening weekend E-V-E-R!

Cray-zay!

Opening with $ 168.6 million in its domestic opening weekend, Deathly Hallows Part 2 obliterated the competition and knocked The Dark Knight‘s $ 158.4 million opening off its number 1 pedestal.

Warner Bros. is clearly king of the blockbuster movies!

The movie earned $ 15.5 million in just IMAX theaters alone and a mind-blowing $ 307 million in 59 countries, clearly surpassing Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, which just recently took the crown for biggest international movie.

In case you’re interested how the other movies did this weekend, here are the box office’s Top 6 films:

1. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows — Part 2 — $ 168.6 mil
2. Transformers: Dark of the Moon — $ 21.3 mil
3. Horrible Bosses — $ 17.6 mil
4. Zookeeper — $ 12.3 mil
5. Cars 2 — $ 8.3 mil
6. Winnie the Pooh — $ 8.0 mil

We’re so sad to say goodbye to Harry! It’s been an emotional weekend, no doubt.

Soooo, what did U see this weekend??
