Check out these first official stills from Madonna‘s directorial debut — a flick called W.E.!

“A two-tiered romantic drama focusing on the affair between King Edward VIII and American divorcée Wallis Simpson and a contemporary romance between a married woman and a Russian security guard.”

While we didn’t really doubt that Madonna could make a movie, we honestly had no idea it’d look so beautiful. She’s capturing a very classic look here, and we love it. And that black and white looks just so smooth!

It's Official! Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows Part 2 Is The Biggest Movie Ever

Are U even surprised?? It is the end of an era, afterall.

Harry Potter‘s final film not only scored the largest midnight debut and opening day, but it also grabbed the prize for biggest opening weekend E-V-E-R!

Cray-zay!

Opening with $ 168.6 million in its domestic opening weekend, Deathly Hallows Part 2 obliterated the competition and knocked The Dark Knight‘s $ 158.4 million opening off its number 1 pedestal.

Warner Bros. is clearly king of the blockbuster movies!

The movie earned $ 15.5 million in just IMAX theaters alone and a mind-blowing $ 307 million in 59 countries, clearly surpassing Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, which just recently took the crown for biggest international movie.

In case you’re interested how the other movies did this weekend, here are the box office’s Top 6 films:

Dan (Robin Williams) and Charlie (John Travolta) are two best friends and co-workers. They apparently have no clue about the importance of family and what life is truly about. Dan’s ex-wife Vicki (Kelly Preston) shows up after a long period of time and announces she and Dan have seven-year-old twins: a son and a daughter. Now Dan recruits Charlie and together they have to take care of the twins and a dog. With help from a co-worker (Seth Green), they go from outdoor activities with the kids and a rough instructor (Matt Dillon), to enduring a flamboyant children’s entertainer (Bernie Mac) and eventually they will learn the true meaning of life and family. The leashes were on loan from the current owner of 51 Bergen Street, the factory space where the invisible dog toy was invented in the 1970s.
