And the plot thickens!
Former News International Chief, Rebekah Brooks, was arrested by Operation Weeting officers along with her hubby, Charlie Brooks, due to suspected involvement in the News of the World phone hacking scandal.
Along with four others, the Brooks fam are being charged with suspicion of conspiracy to pervert the course of justice. This marks the second time Rebekah has been arrested, so she’s in really hot water!
Rebekah and Charlie are currently being interviewed at separate police stations. Prime Minister David Cameron admitted he was a very good friend of Charlie’s, so these arrests don’t look too good for his political hopes.
We’ll see if any of the charges stick on the former editor this time!
