Queen B’s mystery merchandise is going to be “irreplaceable.”
On Thursday, Beyoncé announced her much-anticipated seventh studio album, “Renaissance,” which will be out on July 29.
To celebrate the momentous occasion, the “Sorry” singer is allowing the Beyhive to purchase the album — and a box of goodies — sight unseen.
On her website, fans can choose out of four bundles that each include a collectible album, T-shirt, booklet and mini poster for $40, shipping on the album’s release date.
There’s no description of what the unisex styles will look like, except that they will feature “screen-printed front and back graphics.”
The cover artwork and tee design “will be unveiled at a later date.”
The secrecy is just part of the charm for fans, with one tweeting, “Y’all I was thinking of how ICONIC it’ll be when Beyoncé tours and all the Beyhive will be wearing their merch from the box sets.”
Another exclaimed, “I JUST BOUGHT A $50 MYSTERY BOX!! I BOUGHT A SHIRT AND I DONT KNOW WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE!!!” One user quipped, “all you girlies complain about being broke left and right, and then suddenly you got funds for Beyoncé #RENAISSANCE merch that you haven’t seen ?.”
It’s not just fans loving her concert tees. The pop star’s daughter Blue Ivy wore a “Brown Skin Girl” shirt from her mom’s collection courtside on Monday at the NBA Finals.
On Thursday, the “Crazy in Love” songstress, 40, covered British Vogue’s July 2022 issue, posing prettily atop a horse in a feathered headpiece and black velvet gown to coincide with the album announcement. Editor-in-chief Edward Enninful said for the shoot, Beyoncé “wanted to play with fashion like never before.”
Much like her merch, the cover story was equally mysterious. She gave only a minimal amount of information, describing her inner circle as “My earth, my heart, my soil and my sanity.”
