Fore! Bill Murray flexed his golf skills still standing after Caddyshack debuted over 40 years ago, showing off his ability to sink the iconic no-look putt from the film. While playing among other celebs at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro Am., the beloved actor nailed this move — and even if he didn’t sweep the tournament, he certainly won in the hearts of social media users.
Murray was one of 27 celebrities to compete in the tourney, going head-to-head against stars like Mookie Betts, Mia Ham, and Ray Romano. The stars threw down against PGA’s biggest names this weekend at the iconic California course.
The actor, donning a checkered fedora, mis-matched gloves, and a pink button-down, sunk the ball like it was nothing. He walked away from the hole, turned his back, and swung the putter towards the ball. After the ball rolled into the hole, Murray retrieved it and tossed his club to the side. Iconic!
Apart from Murray, Tom Hoge was the one who ended up making it big after this weekend’s match. The 32-year-old won his first professional golf event since 2011, beating three-time winner Jordan Spieth by just two strokes. So he’s got that goin’ for him, which is nice.
Caddyshack is now streaming on Netflix, in case Bill Murray’s sweet flex has inspired tonight’s movie selection. Watch the full clip in the video above.
