Dua Lipa is making some “New Rules” for fashion this week.
The singer is the latest star to rock the pants with attached shoes trend, wearing a denim bustier top and jeans with built-in heels from the Diesel fall/winter 2022 collection on Thursday.
Pairing her all-denim look with a matching Diesel shoulder bag, Lipa added a low-slung belt as she headed out in the city before a big TV appearance.
The London-born star chatted with Jimmy Fallon on “The Tonight Show” Thursday night, stepping out at the talk show in another statement-making outfit.
The “Cold Heart” singer wowed in a heart-shaped green-and-yellow houndstooth crop top trimmed in crystals and a matching miniskirt with green feather trim from Area, paired with massive, furry black boots and a sparkly choker to accessorize her barely-there outfit.
“You know I always make a big effort when I come on this show,” the chart-topper told Fallon of the look.
Another person she made a “big effort” for was an 80-year-old Dua Lipa superfan who Fallon surprised on the show.
The “New Rules” singer met Papa Richy, who went viral on TikTok with his “Are you s—ting me!” response after his family gave him tickets to see Dua Lipa in concert for his 80th birthday.
The duo danced together, with Richy exclaiming, “Oh my god! Holy s—t!” when he realized he was meeting his favorite singer.
The 26-year-old has been in New York as part of her “The Future Nostalgia” tour, playing Madison Square Garden on Tuesday night in another built-in shoe look.
Dua Lipa rocked the stadium with hits like “Break My Heart” in a neon yellow lace catsuit by Balenciaga with a bustier top and the same attached high-heeled boots beloved by Kim Kardashian and Julia Fox.
She added matching opera gloves to the neon outfit for her night at Madison Square Garden, which she called “surreal.”
“It really exceeded all my expectations,” she told Fallon of the show, adding “everyone just kind of rode the wave with me … the floor was shaking.”
Lipa’s looks certainly have us “Levitating.”
