GAME PS5 stock could become available to buy once again shortly. The major online retailer – which has been one of the best places to purchase a PlayStation 5 in the UK ever since the console launched – has updated the PS5 hub page on its website, saying the next batch of stock pre-orders will get a release date of February 18. And, according to the ever reliable @PS5StockAlertUK Twitter account, this has helped narrow down when the GAME PS5 restock window will be.
According to the PS5 stock tracker account, GAME should open orders for the PS5 once again between February 8 and February 10.
While PS5 stock should become available to buy between 9am and 11.30am on the day that orders open up again.
Towards the end of January the @PS5StockAlertUK Twitter account posted: “GAME has updated the release dates for PS5 Disc & Digital Editions (+ bundles) to the 18th of February, indicating a possible pre-order chance on the first or second week of February.
“We should have more concrete information on the possible dates sometime next week. Stay tuned.”
And then in a follow-up tweet on Thursday the account added: “PlayStation 5 Restock Prediction For GAME.
“GAME 8th-10th Feb 9am-11:30am GMT Disc & Digital Edition”.

At the time of writing, the GAME website lists 29 different PS5 purchase options that have a February 18 2022 release date.
This includes the standalone PS5 Disc and Digital consoles as well as a range of bundles.
Bundles come with accessories, membership to PS Plus, and games such as Spider-Man Miles Morales, Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart and Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut.
For any parents trying to buy a PS5 as a present during the next restock, there’s one thing to bear in mind. If you’re not familiar with how the PS5 works then you need to know that physical games can’t be used with the PS5 Digital console. So if you’re trying to get a PS5 Digital console as a present don’t try adding any disc games to your shopping cart as well.
While if you’ve never tried purchasing a PS5 with a GAME stock drop there are a few other things to bear in mind.
It’s best to tackle a GAME PS5 restock on multiple fronts, so if you’re able to try to log in to the GAME website on multiple devices – so your phone, laptop and / or tablet.
Also, the standalone PS5 consoles tend to sell out the quickest so your best bet is trying to purchase one of the bundles if you want more chance of securing stock.
And finally with past PS5 GAME restocks customers have reported that they’ve had more joy using Guest checkout instead of logging in with their GAME account. This can help speed up the process, which is crucial given how quickly PS5 restocks have sold out in the past.
