GTA 6 developer Rockstar has seemingly taken a huge step towards completing development of the upcoming open-world action game.
Grand Theft Auto 6 is undoubtedly the most hotly anticipated release of the current-gen consoles.
To say expectations are sky high would be an understatement, especially given the length of time between the release of GTA 5 and the upcoming sequel.
Fortunately, however, it looks like the release of GTA 6 could be much closer than fans think.
According to a GTA insider (via GTA 6 NEWS AND LEAKS), Rockstar has already started adding songs to the in-game radio stations.
“Something internal was revealed to me recently, but I can’t say much,” reads a GTA 6 NEWS AND LEAKS tweet. “Referring to some songs from some radio stations that may be present in the next title in the Grand Theft Auto franchise.
“It is believed radio stations and songs are the last step in the late game development. Past GTA 6 leaks suggested it entered GTA 6’s in 2019.”
As you can see from the tweet above, the radio stations are typically added to the game later in development, which suggests a reveal may not be too far away.
Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 2 could finally make an appearance during an imminent Anniversary event.
Final Fantasy 7 made its PlayStation debut on January 31, 1997 (in Japan).
To celebrate the 25-year anniversary of Final Fantasy 7, Square Enix is holding a special commemorative event online.
Broadcasting live on YouTube, the stream will take place at 10am GMT UK time on January 31.
The upcoming event will feature an appearance by legendary Final Fantasy 7 director Yoshinori Kitase, as well as Final Fantasy 7 Remake creative director Tetsuya Nomura.
While the event will primarily focus on Final Fantasy VII The First Soldier, fans will be hoping for a glimpse of FF7 Remake Part 2.
Fingers crossed we finally get some news about the upcoming adventure.
Mortal Kombat 12 appears to have been leaked ahead of its official reveal.
In a now deleted tweet, NetherRealm senior production manager Jonathan Andersen recently shared a post of his workstation (below).
The desk was largely filled with Mortal Kombat and Injustice memorabilia, including artwork and advertising imagery.
Fans can also see a very small portion of Andersen’s computer screen, complete with a highly revealing file name.
On one of the computer screens, fans noticed a file named “MK12_Mast”. Needless to say, this has led to speculation that Mortal Kombat 12 is late in development.
This backs up earlier reports that NetherRealm is focusing on the Mortal Kombat franchise, and not currently making a new Injustice game as originally speculated.
It should be noted that NetherRealm is no longer working on new content for MK 11, so a new game seems like a cert.

“Well, I’m hearing some announcements scheduled and launch period for games that right now makes me confident to say that it should arrive before last February direct.
“I see several articles going around about lineups for Nintendo this year, there are games I don’t see mentioned or titles that will be coming out later. By now it’s confirmed from news outlet that there will be Legends previews this week, as I had mentioned just yesterday.”
Nintendo has a solid line-up for 2022, with new games such as Bayonetta 3, Breath of the Wild 2, Advance Wars, Pokemon Legends Arceus and Splatoon 3.
