Tyler Perry’s Madea character was a major success, and 10 Madea movies in total have been released since the first, “Diary Of A Mad Black Woman,” premiered (via Parade). In addition to writing, producing, and starring in his own movies, Perry has appeared on the big screen in major motion pictures such as “Gone Girl.” He also developed his own sitcom called “Tyler Perry’s House Of Payne” (via IMDb).
In 2007, Perry met Gelila Bekele at a concert. The pair then began a relationship that would last over a decade, during which time the two welcomed their son, Aman Perry, to the world (via People). The two eventually split, though they remain amicable in order to provide their son with a strong family structure. As a model, Bekele stands at an impressive 5 feet 9 inches tall (via Model Fact). Even at her striking stature, her former partner, Perry, still towered over her at 6 feet 5 inches.
