Jada Pinkett Smith did it first.
The “Girls Trip” star shared a pregnancy throwback pic on Instagram Monday, showing off side-by-side photos of her and Rihanna, both rocking see-through outfits with their baby bumps.
“Who says you can’t wear see thru fits when you’re preggers?” the actress and producer said, sharing a touching post in honor of her friend.
“I love me some Rih,” Pinkett Smith added. “She’s bold, unapologetic, fierce, kind and an all around girls girl.”
In the photo, the now-50-year-old is wearing a sheer gown on the 1998 Grammys red carpet during her pregnancy with son Jaden.
Rihanna, who is pregnant with her first child, has been showing off a range of head-turning maternity styles lately — including the see-through black lingerie look she wore to the Dior show during Paris Fashion Week, which Smith praised.
The “Umbrella” singer announced she is expecting her first child with boyfriend A$AP Rocky with a stunning pink coat, opened to show off her bare bump, as has become her maternity staple.
While she’s worn some stunning skin-baring pregnancy looks — from cut-out jumpsuits to latex crop tops — Rihanna admitted that she sometimes feels like loafing on the sofa.
“But when you put on a little face and a little lipstick, you transform,” the mom-to-be said recently. “You put some clothes on, and it’s like, when you look good, you feel good.”
Speaking of feeling good, Pinkett Smith said that was one of her favorite things about the “Diamonds” singer.
“She likes to see other women win and that’s one of her qualities I admire most,” the actress posted on Instagram. “She’s a queen that loves helping other women find and hold their own crowns.”
To close off her International Women’s Day message, the “Red Table Talk” host added, “As women, it’s important that we seeeee one another, help heal one another, love one another and support one another.”
