Julia Fox was spotted showing off her pricey Birkin bag from former beau Kanye West.
Fox, who we hear just returned from shooting for Vogue in Paris, was spotted at downtown staple Lucien toting the $45,000 bag.
It’s the same French restaurant where West gifted it to her (and five more of the expensive bags to her friends) for her birthday.
Fox recently told the New York Times, “I don’t know if you know about owning a Birkin when you’re not a rich person, but it’s like the most anxiety-inducing thing ever. You’re checking on the Birkin, making sure it’s still there, that it didn’t magically grow wings. It’s scary to have a Birkin. It’s a lot of pressure.”
We’re told the “Uncut Gems” actress was spotted briefly chatting with Tremaine Emory, creative director of Supreme. She stars in the brand’s newest ad campaign, shot by “Kids” screenwriter Harmony Korine.
Emory was at the downtown bistro for a bash celebrating fashion brand Wales Bonner with Saks. Designer Telfar Clemens, who makes his own highly coveted bags, Stevie Wonder’s son Kailand Morris, Lil Dre, and Sam Hine also attended.
We’re told Saks fashion director Roopal Patel gave a toast to Grace Wales Bonner, who will guest design for Pitti Uomo this June.
West continues to dole out Birkins to the women in his life: He just gifted his latest gal pal, Chaney Jones, a rare one worth $275,000.
Fox and West began seeing each other on New Year’s Eve in Miami. But after much fanfare — including blow-by-blow accounts of their early dates by Fox in Interview Magazine, the whirlwind romance didn’t last.
