Keanu Reeves has stated it could be a “dream” to play Batman in a live-action movie.
The actor, who voices a model of Batman in animated movie DC League of Tremendous-Pets, expressed an curiosity in portraying the character in a live-action function.
Chatting with Extra, Reeves stated: “I really like Batman, as a personality. I really like him within the comedian books, within the movies, so to get the chance to voice, to play Batman was superior.”
Requested about moving into the swimsuit himself, Reeves stated: “It’s been a dream however [Robert] Pattinson has acquired Batman proper now and he’s doing superior.
“Possibly down the highway. Possibly after they want an older Batman.”
Robert Pattinson is set to reprise the role in a sequel to The Batman, alongside director Matt Reeves.
A spin-off series centred around Oswald Cobblepot aka the Penguin (Colin Farrell) can be in growth at HBO Max, which is able to comply with the character “as he rises by the darkened ranks” of Gotham.
Talking in regards to the spin-off, government producer Reeves stated: “Colin exploded off the display because the Penguin in The Batman, and having the possibility to totally discover the inside lifetime of that character on HBO Max is an absolute thrill.

In a four-star review of The Batman, NME wrote: “Director Matt Reeves has combined up gritty mob drama with film-noir detective thriller – and because of Paul Dano’s ultra-creepy villain, some psychological horror too.
“More often than not it comes off brilliantly. Pattinson performs him with a dour fanaticism that solely sometimes topples over into parody.”
