Loren and Alexei Brovarnik fell in love in front of the world’s eyes, and now fans of the “90 Day Fiancé” couple will get to see their family grow even more. However, while this is an incredibly happy time for Loren and Alexei, it’s also happening during the COVID-19 pandemic, which makes everything — nonetheless growing your family or filming a television series — harder. They did both.
When asked about how the pandemic affected the filming of “After the 90 Days” and their parenting, Loren told us, “I’m definitely more cautious.” She continued, “When it comes to kids, I’ve learned to have patience, just overall in general. I know you don’t believe me when I say that, but it’s true. Alex thinks I sleep all day, so I have tons of patience.” She went on to explain that she’s big on hand sanitizer and general cleanliness.
The couple went on to share that they’ve been receiving COVID-19 tests “nonstop.” “We’re doing self-shooting too, so we feel like we’re professional,” Loren explained. “Definitely lots of self-shooting too, because places have restrictions and don’t allow people there,” Alexei added. He further promised that, despite any filming restrictions, the series will offer “some crying, some fighting, some loving” as well as “maybe some more of our parents and families and relationships that are there.”
Ultimately, “After the 90 Days” was filmed with strict protocols — Alexei noted that any positive COVID-19 tests from the crew were taken very seriously — so viewers can rest easy knowing that everyone remained healthy.
You can catch Loren and Alexei Brovarnik on TLC’s “Loren & Alexei: After the 90 Days” every Monday at 9:30 p.m. ET.
