The black and white clip for the monitor was shared last week by the Mumford & Sons frontman and sees him performing in a gymnasium.
Now, he has taken to Instagram to substantiate that the legendary director was on the helm and it was his first ever music video.
“On Sunday third July in a highschool gymnasium in New York, Steven Spielberg directed his first music video, in a single shot, on his telephone. Kate Capshaw was the almighty dolly grip,” Mumford wrote.
