Peyton List practically grew up on a TV set, so it’s no surprise that her love of beauty products began at an early age.
“I remember being 12 years old, getting my makeup done when I started acting and just loving the transformation,” the former Disney darling and “Cobra Kai” star told Page Six Style. “I have really good memories associated with makeup.”
And that positive energy’s at the heart of her new brand, Pley Beauty.
“I wanted to create something that was colorful and fun, but also clean,” she explained.
“I feel like clean beauty hasn’t been something that’s been as accessible for a younger audience … and it’s just not really been experimental with color and style.”
Priced from $16 to $36 and available to shop now on PleyBeauty.com, the line includes eyeshadow palettes, eyeliners, lip tints, glosses, shimmer sticks, blushes and festival-ready face gems, all in vibrant shades intended for playful (or rather, “pleyful”) experimentation.
The first drop also includes a limited-edition capsule collection inspired by List’s hit Netflix series, Season 4 of which dropped at the end of December.
“It’s the first beauty collaboration Sony has ever done,” the 23-year-old actress said, referencing the studio behind the “Karate Kid” sequel. “So for them to take a chance on us before we even dropped is just so huge. Everyone just jumped in and helped out and had lots of input.”
In addition to a special “Cobra Kai”-themed palette, highlighter stick and face gems, the collab also features a gym-ready tote and a face mist infused with green tea and ginseng — perfect for freshening up after a sweaty workout. There’s even a lip tint inspired by the sheer red shade List’s character, Tory Nichols, sports onscreen.
“I can’t wait to see everyone wearing it,” the star said. “That will be the most exciting thing for me.”
