The Queen is feeling blue.
The royal family paraded through the streets of London Thursday to celebrate Queen Elizabeth II’s official birthday celebration, Trooping the Colour.
In a rare move, the entire clan coordinated in shades of blue, which is thought to be the monarch’s favorite color.
Her Majesty — whose actual birthday is April 21 — looked resplendent in a powder blue coat with white beaded embellishments and a matching hat as she waved to the crowds to kick off her Platinum Jubilee weekend.
She was joined by nearly her entire family traveling by carriage (and horseback) down the Mall toward Buckingham Palace, surrounded by thousands of cheering spectators.
Kate Middleton wore a white Alexander McQueen coat dress paired with a navy Philip Treacy hat and accessorized with sapphire and diamond earrings and a matching necklace, both of which were previously owned by Princess Diana, as was her engagement ring.
Princess Charlotte, 7, and Prince Louis, 4, made their first carriage appearance at the event wearing a blue dress and Prince William’s own sailor suit, respectively.
Their older brother, Prince George, 8, looked grown up in a navy suit with blue tie, while William, 39, wore his uniform, as did Princess Anne and Prince Charles.
Even Camilla Parker Bowles got in on the blue theme, wearing a pale striped dress by Bruce Oldfield with a large Philip Treacy hat.
Following the parade, the royals made a balcony appearance as they watched a special flypast by the Royal Air Force.
Prince Harry, Meghan Markle and Prince Andrew — who were not invited to join the family for balcony photo op — skipped the carriage procession Thursday but are set to be present at Friday’s church service at St. Paul’s Cathedral. However, Andrew has since tested positive for COVID-19 and will be absent.
Royal fans have many more style moments to look forward to as the Platinum Jubilee continues this weekend, including Friday’s Service of Thanksgiving and Saturday’s Epsom Derby.
