WARNING: This article contains full spoilers for The Book of Boba Fett.
The latest episode of The Book of Boba Fett reintroduced The Mandalorian to the ongoing Disney Plus Star Wars-verse. Not only did Din Djarin make a triumphant return to get a new starship, but he also showed off his epic Darksaber skills once again. He finished out the episode vowing to meet a “little friend,” Grogu – otherwise known as Baby Yoda. Do you recall who last took Grogu away? Luke Skywalker.
Luke was last seen in the final episode of The Mandalorian season 2 when he answered the call for a Jedi to help the young padawan (Grogu) learn the ways of the Force.
The emotional final moments involved Mando sending Grogu away to be with his people and become a Jedi. And who better to teach him the ways of the Force than Luke himself?
With that said, another Star Wars hero may also be a good fit for some training.
The newest Book of Boba Fett episode showed Mando struggling to handle the power of the Darksaber. One scene involving The Armorer even illustrated just how difficult the legendary weapon is to use.
So, considering Mando is going to visit Grogu and his new master, Luke, he may become the second-ever Mandalorian Jedi.
Kylo famously murdered all of the members of Luke’s new Jedi Temple. If Grogu and Mando were a part of this commune, their fate may already be sealed as they will be at the exact place their peers would be murdered.
However, almost anything is possible in the Star Wars universe, and Mando has never been one to settle down.
After Mando’s sect of Mandalore was destroyed, he has since been travelling the galaxy pulling off jobs where he could. With this in mind, he could instead learn the ways of the Force and fly away from any danger with Grogu in tow.
The Book of Boba Fett continues Wednesday on Disney Plus.
