The LAPD posted the news of Lindsey Pearlman’s death on Friday. “Today around 8:30 a.m., Hollywood Area officers responded to a radio call for a death investigation at Franklin Avenue and North Sierra Bonita Avenue,” the statement read. “The L.A. County Coroner’s Office has since confirmed the individual to be Lindsey Erin Pearlman. The cause of death will be determined by the coroner.”
The Daily Mail reports that a security guard who was near the scene when the police found Pearlman’s body said there appeared to be pills all over the car and that her body had been found in a blanket. Pearlman’s husband, Vance Smith, also posted news of her death to his Instagram page. “The police found Lindsey. She’s gone. I’m broken,” he wrote. “I will share more later but I wanted to thank everyone for their love and efforts and ask to respect the privacy of her family at this time.”
According to Pearlman’s website, the actress hailed from Chicago where she studied with the famed Second City Conservatory, but moved to LA after landing her recurring role on “Chicago Justice.”
