Believe it or not, in the year 2022, there is an animated Marmaduke movie starring the voice of Pete Davidson coming to Netflix. And in, fact, it’s coming to Netflix tomorrow.
That’s right, absolutely no one asked for another movie based on the comic strip about the slightly larger-than-usual dog, and yet, here we are. Directed by Mark A.Z. Dippé, this Marmaduke movie will be all CGI, as opposed to the 2010 Marmaduke movie from Twentieth Century Fox starring Owen Wilson, Emma Stone, and George Lopez, which put CGI faces on live-action animals. Which Marmaduke movie will ultimately be more horrifying? We’ll just have to wait and see.

Marmaduke will begin streaming on Netflix on Friday, May 6. The movie will be exclusively on Netflix—unfortunately, you won’t be able to see this one in theaters.

Netflix movies are usually released on the streaming service at 12 a.m. Pacific Time or 3 a.m. Eastern Time on the morning of the film’s release date. Therefore, Marmaduke will begin streaming on Netflix on Friday, May 6 at 12 a.m. PT, aka 3 a.m. ET.
