It was a breakup that started it all. Season 1 revolved around Jules reconnecting with girl world after her boyfriend dumped her. It was a rocky path back to friendship, but Jules eventually found a clique that worked with her. And that clique came with drama.
Season 1 ended with Jules giving a speech at her ex’s sister’s wedding. That speech? That was when she called out her boss Celeste’s (Malin Åkerman) husband for cheating on both Celeste and Jules’ best friend Madison (Brenda Song). During that same wedding, Jules’ own ex Jeremy (Connor Hines) also tried to get back with her, but she turned him down. Desperate to get away, Jules, Madison, Stella (Shay Mitchell), and Izzy (Esther Povitsky) stole the new couple’s honeymoon car and drove back to Los Angeles.
