The culinary world is getting its own gritty series thanks to The Bear. Created by Christopher Storer, best known for his work on Ramy and Eighth Grade, comes this new half-hour series about a chef who has to balance running a small business while also dealing with his family’s tragedies. With a creative team that ranges from BoJack Horseman and Undone‘s Joanna Calo to Atlanta and Station Eleven‘s Hiro Murai, it’s a series that aims to capture the real pain, stress, and humor of the kitchen.

What Time Will The Bear Be on Hulu?
Though The Bear is an FX original, it will only be available to stream on Hulu. Season 1 of the culinary dramedy will be available to watch on Hulu Thursday, June 23 starting at 3/2c a.m. If you don’t see the episodes appear right away, don’t worry. Simply refresh your Hulu app or browser and they should appear.
How to Watch The Bear
This one is a bit confusing. The Bear is one of the last shows that was greenlit under the FX on Hulu brand. So even though that brand dissolved in December of 2021, this FX original comedy will still exclusively premiere on Hulu. That means if you want to watch you’re going to need a Hulu account.
Thankfully those are pretty easy to get. Currently Hulu’s ad-supported plan costs $6.99 a month or $69.99 a year. Hate ads? That plan will cost you $12.99 a month. Who’s in the Cast of The Bear?
Jeremy Allen White stars as Carmen ‘Carmy’ Berzatto, a young chef from the world of fine dining who comes home to Chicago to run his family’s sandwich shop. White is likely best known for his work in Shameless where he played Lip Gallagher. In addition to White, The Bear stars Ebon Moss-Bachrach (Girls), Ayo Edebiri (Dickinson, Big Mouth), Abby Elliott (No Strings Attached), Lionel Boyce (The Jellies!), and Liza Colón-Zayas (In Treatment).
